Is your child, teen, or young adult struggling with anxiety, OCD, or depression? You may notice excessive worry, emotional withdrawal, difficulty concentrating, or patterns that interfere with daily functioning. These challenges can affect confidence, relationships, and overall emotional wellbeing. Therapy provides a supportive space where young people can better understand their experiences and begin building the skills needed to feel more stable and in control.

I support children, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, OCD, and depression. Together, we focus on strengthening emotional awareness, developing coping strategies, and reducing patterns that contribute to distress. This process helps young people build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and feel more confident in managing their thoughts, emotions, and daily responsibilities.

Therapy is collaborative and tailored to each individual’s needs and developmental stage. It provides a safe and structured environment to explore challenges, build practical skills, and support long-term emotional health, stability, and overall wellbeing.

My Approach

I’m Dana D’Arville, and as a clinician with over a decade of experience supporting children, teens, and launching adults throughout Ontario, I know that therapy can offer your child effective coping strategies and behavioural tools that they will use for life. I’m also available to support you, the parent, in reinforcing the progress your child is likely to make through counselling.

I am qualified to work with neurodiverse clients, including those with Asperger’s and learning disabilities, but I do not provide ABA or IBI interventions. Rather, I draw from mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), among others, taking a collaborative, person-centered approach to individualize treatment.

Working with children and teens, I know it can be difficult to begin therapy. However, I am well-versed in creating a safe, comfortable counselling space where clients learn to trust, build skills, and thrive. Whatever your child’s struggles are, I want to help them establish a sense of independence and control over their mental and emotional health.
